Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

BENEFITS – Vitamin E is the main lipophilic antioxidant in the skin. It reduces the skin damage due to ultraviolet radiation, smooths the surface of the skin, increases the hydration of the stratum corneum, inhibits inflammation, stimulates cell regeneration and accelerates wound healing. It is found in all of the skin layers, anchored in the phospholipid bilayers of the cell membranes, preventing the oxidation of membrane lipids.

BENEFITS – Squalane is a superb emollient that helps to moisturize, soften, and protect the skin barrier. As a natural part of the sebum, squalene lubricates the skin, prevents the evaporation of moisture, and functions as a natural emollient and protective agent. It helps to prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL), keeping the skin plump, smooth, and supple. Squalene supports the delivery of oxygen to skin cells and removes waste. A deficiency of squalene results in dry skin and premature aging. Said to have a molecular structure similar to vitamin A, squalene is highly unsaturated and valuable for skin health.

BENEFITS – Exceptionally high in vitamin E and provitamin A, raspberry seed oil has been identified as having potential for sun protection, with some claims suggesting an SPF range of 28–50 when used undiluted. It is exceptionally light and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving a dry yet moisturized finish. The oil is highly recommended for irritated, inflamed, allergy-prone, mature, and acne-prone skin. Its regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects are attributed to the presence of linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids.

BENEFITS – Olive oil is a stable oil, able to tolerate some heat and light exposure. In skincare, oleic acid supports the natural breathing process and sebum production of the skin. BENEFITS – Also known as Ben oil or Behen oil due to its relatively high content of behenic acid, Moringa oil is rich in monounsaturated oleic acid (70%), making it deeply emollient and moisturizing. It effectively heals roughness and dryness in the skin. With very high antioxidative properties, it not only offers excellent stability but also protects both skin and hair from environmental and oxidative damage.

Mango Seed Butter

INCI NAME – Mangifera indica

BENEFITS – High amounts of nutritive unsaponifiable plant compounds give mango butter rejuvenating and wound-healing properties as well as UV ray-protective capabilities. The caffeic acid present in the butter is also a particularly powerful antioxidant and fungicide. Mangiferin, a polyphenol specific to mango, provides antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Tannins in the oil create a dry-feeling butter, providing astringency with a light feel on the skin. It contains a fair amount of natural and stable vitamin C, along with both saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Mango butter is able to moisturize, repair, and revitalize the skin layers, supporting and nourishing the skin.

Kukui Nut Oil

BENEFITS – In old Hawaii, kukui nut oil was used for skin care, particularly to protect newborn infants and children from the sun, salt, and weather. High in essential fatty acids and with a composition similar to skin’s natural oils, it is easily absorbed into the stratum corneum. Oleic acid (30%) and other fatty acids strengthen intracellular bonds, creating a semi-permeable barrier that nourishes and protects the skin while preventing premature aging. Enriched with vitamins A, C, and E, kukui nut oil is anti-inflammatory, supports circulation, and helps alleviate skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. It is also helpful for wound care, as it prevents scarring and supports skin healing.

Jojoba Oil

BENEFITS – Jojoba is an excellent oil for the skin — emollient, regenerative, restructuring, and toning. It provides a light film that maintains moisture while allowing the skin to breathe. The same waxy esters are present in both jojoba and sebum, giving it high compatibility with the skin. Being non-comedogenic, jojoba oil doesn’t clog pores and protects against and treats acne conditions. It also supports the healthy production of the acid mantle, which guards against harmful bacteria and skin imbalances.

Hemp Seed Oil

BENEFITS – Hemp oil is considered particularly suitable in the regenerative care of dry and mature skin, and in the soothing care of irritated and stressed skin. Anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects are believed to be expressed by linoleic, linolenic, and stearidonic acids. With its broad range of fatty acids, hemp seed oil has earned the reputation of being “nature’s most perfectly balanced oil.”

Glycerine (Plant Derived)

Additionally, it provides flexibility to the lipid components of the stratum corneum.

Geranium Oil

BENEFITS – Geranium oil owes much of its therapeutic power to a few core constituents. Linalool contributes calming, anti-inflammatory, and mild analgesic effects, supporting both skin comfort and emotional balance. Geranyl formate adds a fresh, floral-fruity aroma while offering antifungal and liver-protective qualities. Citronellol is known for its antimicrobial, antioxidant, and soothing properties, making it excellent for irritated or acne-prone skin. Geraniol provides antibacterial, antiseptic, and regenerative support, helping to maintain a clear and healthy complexion.

Applied to the skin, geranium essential oil supports cellular regeneration and promotes a clearer, more balanced complexion. BENEFITS – Fractionated coconut oil is known for its light, non-greasy texture and rapid absorption, making it ideal for softening and soothing dry, sensitive skin. Unlike heavier oils, it forms a breathable, protective barrier without clogging pores, offering excellent hydration and comfort to troubled or dehydrated skin. Rich in saturated fats—primarily medium-chain triglycerides—fractionated coconut oil delivers targeted skin benefits, despite the general caution surrounding dietary saturated fats. It penetrates the skin quickly, serving as an effective carrier for transdermal actives and essential oils. This deep-absorbing quality makes it highly valued in both therapeutic and cosmetic applications, especially in massage therapy and aromatherapy, where clean, non-staining, and easily absorbed oils are essential.

Lauric acid, which makes up nearly 50% of coconut oil, converts to monolaurin in the body — a compound that can destroy viruses and harmful bacteria. Coconut oil from tropical plants contains compounds that protect the skin from sun exposure while supporting natural vitamin D formation. Cetyl Alcohol (Emulsifier)

BENEFITS – Cetyl alcohol is a co-emulsifier, a thickener, and an emollient. It contributes to the formation of the liquid crystals. In topical application of the emulsion to the skin, it may reduce the feeling of stickiness and increase the feeling of softness and smoothness. Cetyl alcohol is a colorless wax-like substance with a weak odour.

Carrot Seed Oil

COMPOSITION – Provitamin A, carotenoids, antioxidants, beta carotene, beta-sitosterol, phytosterols, stigmasterol & vitamin E.

BENEFITS – Carrot seed oil has sufficient fatty acids and is beneficial for use on the skin to nourish and repair skin tissues. Exceptionally rich in beta carotene (provitamin A), it also provides UV protection. In addition, its vitamin E and natural mineral content make the oil highly nutrient dense. Healing for dry, chapped, and cracked skin, carrot seed oil helps to balance the moisture in the tissues. High in phytosterols, stigmasterol, beta-sitosterol, and beta carotene, the oil is protective and healing.

Calendula Flower Extract

BENEFITS – A master healer, Calendula is prized for its ability to calm inflamed, irritated, or reactive skin. It is renowned for its antimicrobial properties and its ability to treat wounds and scars. Calendula may help with the collagen in the skin, may promote new tissue growth in wound healing, and help decrease skin inflammation. Known as the holy grail in skincare for healing, rich in antioxidants protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and environmental stressors. It is antifungal, anti-bacterial and even helps with sun protection. It is known for its soothing qualities especially for sensitive skin.

Broccoli Seed Oil

BENEFITS – A member of the cabbage or Brassica family, broccoli seed oil moisturizes with stable, non-greasy yet effective action. The very long-chain fatty acids help protect against damage from excess sun. Sulforaphane, a compound associated with the cabbage family, provides UV protection by stimulation of protective enzymes. Broccoli seeds are especially high in sulforaphane and able to stimulate the production of the enzyme glutathione, a coenzyme antioxidant that all cells make. Glutathione also stimulates anti-inflammatory actions in capillaries, reducing the effect of rosacea by slowing, even halting, new growth of the fine blood vessels on the face. Broccoli seed oil is a natural alternative to synthetic silicone, penetrating the cells without leaving an oily residue behind.
